History
Touch The World has had a presence in Cuba since 2000 with summer mission trips working with church youth and serving through church painting and other projects. Witnessing how God was working, a club ministry was started, called “Club Ganadores de Almas” or Soul Winners Club in English. The club ministry filled a need for youth to be discipled and trained as well as grow closer to the Lord through worship and fellowship. As Jesus began his ministry with twelve disciples so did the club ministry. Twelve Cuban kids shared with saved and unsaved friends about the club, seeds were planted and God blessed those seeds till now there are more than 550 kids being discipled every week in homes throughout the island.
Camp
Every year a camp is held during the time kids are off from school, they come from all over, riding many hours in the back of trucks most of them standing. They arrive so excited to be with their brothers and sisters from other clubs that the hardship of the ride is quickly forgotten and replaced by the “Joy of the Lord”. At camp the kids are trained in how to share their faith through testimony, music, drama, and puppetry. The worship is powerful and straight from the heart, 400 kids and leaders singing and rejoicing to their Lord. At camp the kids get three meals a day something many of them cannot always count on at home, there is also time for personal and team devotions as well as plenty of fun through sports, crafts and contests. When God blesses He really blesses, new clubs continue to open and we have faith that in the not too distant future there will be a club in every province, reaching kids for Christ. Pleas pray for the ministry in Cuba, pray the Cuban Christians will continue to grow in faith and pass this faith on to their unsaved friends.
