Revival Outreach Center

honduras-homeGiving FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE to each and every child!

ROC Ministry is a non-profit organization that provides help to those in need. This is accomplished through Casa Cielo, The Christian Institute of Creative Learning, Compassion House (ministry to unwed mothers), assistance to 5 public schools, outreaches to the nearby villages, and F.C. Cacao Futbol & Discipleship Team.

Seventeen years ago, Rev. Leonard and Marie Jones came to Honduras on a short term mission trip. They saw the poverty and despair that was wide spread in Honduras and knew that they had to come back. Six years have past since they packed their bags in Burleson, TX to make the move to Honduras. They are now permanently residing in La Ceiba, where they have opened a children’s home and are known as “Mama & Papa”. Delfos and Jeanette Sambucetti also followed the call to move to Honduras two years ago to work with their parents. They spend most of their time with the short term mission teams that volunteer and are actively involved in the ongoing construction of the new children’s home that is being built. Jeannie is also very involved in the school while Del coaches a local soccer team.

Casa Cielo Children's Home

honduras-orphanage“Casa Cielo” is translated to “Heaven’s House”. Currently, it is the home to 24 beautiful children and the Jones family. Each of the children that live here are considered sons and daughters to the Jones’. They truly feel that it is their mandate to raise these children and to love them as their own. Currently the children range from 6 mos. - 6 yrs. old. They received all of them through a child protection agency; many of the children were found severely malnourished, neglected and abused.

Christian Institute of Creative Learning

honduras-schoolThis school has been established to equip the children of poverty-stricken communities, by giving them a solid education that will change their future.

Many public schools in Honduras close frequently due to teacher’s strikes. CIOCL is a private school that was started to enable the children of Casa Cielo to attend a Christian school, without having to worry about a delayed school year. Tuition is offered at a much lower cost than other private schools and it offers many opportunities for children in the community.

Currently the school has about 30 children (17 are from the Jones family alone). Being that it is a private school, ROC Ministries needs the necessary funds to acquire teachers and/or volunteers to equip these children with a well rounded education.
